Ultrasensitive method will detect gastric cancer early

Nanotechnology that is developing Dr. Marcelo Kogan, at the Advanced Center for Chronic Disease, ACCDiS, of the University of Chile and Catholic University, will increase sensitivity to locate tumor agents.

Another line of research with nanotechnology, focuses on monitoring circulating tumor cells in order to analyze its route and possible colonization site. This line of research is explored in conjunction with Andrew Quest, ACCDiS scientist and expert on cancer .
